One crew across the county, one standard

Johnson County is where most of my work happens, and the reason to say that plainly is scheduling and consistency rather than marketing. It's my own crew on every job — no subcontractors rotating in between phases — so the person who walked the property with you is the person answering for the finish at the end. That's also why the prep list doesn't shrink when a schedule gets tight.

What gets called for most across the county is interior finish work and cabinets, with exteriors following the weather. Interiors run room by room so the house stays livable: furniture moved and covered, floors protected wall to wall, plates and hardware bagged by location, HVAC returns covered so sanding dust doesn't travel. Then wash, sand, patch and feather, caulk the trim joints, spot-prime the repairs, and two finish coats — with a harder enamel on trim and doors that needs overnight before a clean second pass.

Cabinets, exteriors, and the repairs underneath

Cabinet work is the most process-dependent thing we do: degrease, full sand, bonding primer, sprayed finish coats, with open-grain oak filled and sanded when you want a smooth modern look instead of grain showing through. Doors come off and get sprayed on racks in a contained area; boxes are sprayed in place behind full masking with doorways sealed and returns covered so nothing travels through the house.

Exteriors are repair-first. Wash the whole house and let it dry, scrape to a sound edge and feather it, cut out and replace anything soft, set and spot-prime rusted nail heads, caulk the vertical joints while leaving the drainage gaps under lap siding open, prime bare and stained areas, then two coats worked around the sun. Freeze-thaw winters are what turn a hairline caulk gap into an open one, so joints get real attention rather than a quick bead.
